The Space Telescope Science Institute is seeking an experienced Flight Operations Manager will establish and lead a team of highly skilled personnel to conduct day to day operations of the James Webb Space Telescope from the Science and Operations Center (S&OC) located in Baltimore MD.
In the period prior to the launch of JWST the Flight Operations Manager will work closely with STScI, NASA and the Observatory Contractor to establish and implement plans for pre-flight operations preparatory activities including Flight Operations Team, training, procedure development, ground segment testing and certification.
